We had fun at the last Creating and Crafting event on Saturday morning, 21st June, at our regular venue in Jewels, Bedford Square. Young people used their imagination and creativity to produce ‘fabric fusion’ cards, where they took scrap pieces of fabric, silk thread, and hand-drawn designs – i.e., mixed-media projects. These products were very effective, and the process was engaging.
Adults and young people enjoyed creating jewellery, including rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces ….. the colours really popped!
Making shaker cards with transparent windows was also popular.
