On Saturday morning, despite the mixed weather outside we had fun and relaxed while creating cards made from different textures such as scrap fabric, leaf shapes, felt and sparkle foam.

We also made pictures and enjoyed creative colouring as well as decorating wooden figures.  Children and adults attended, and the children in particular had a lovely time making wooden ‘families’, decorating them and sticking on fluffy hair – they looked so appealing when arranged in a group!

Some people liked making cards on a nature theme, and gained confidence in designing these themselves, using greens and browns in their colour palette.

Why not join us for this friendly, free event – our next Creative Craft is on Saturday , October 21st at 10.30am until 12.30pm, Jewels, Bedford Square, Houghton Regis?

I work by providing a safe, confidential space where people can bring their feelings and thoughts and work at their own pace. My aim is to be supportive and compassionate while helping people see aspects of their situation they haven't already considered. I aim to adapt my approach to every unique individual's particular wishes, needs and circumstances. For example, I offer the opportunity to work creatively and/or look at past experiences or how someone thinks and feels in 'the here and now'.
