We had a pleasant, relaxing session where we painted some small tea light holder jars.

One of the ladies who attended said she found the session very calming, and her two young children became absorbed doing painting, sticking, and decorating for long periods. Adults and children had a go at making rainbow scratch card designs and holographic ones, and people enjoyed colouring and adding stick-on patterns to pretty butterflies and shapes of people. A regular attendee made an attractive bird-themed ‘thank you’ card.

Why not join us at our July Creative Craft Session? One of our regulars commented that there is a friendly, calming family atmosphere in Jewels. Our July session is on Saturday, 22nd July from10.30am until 12.30pm, in Jewels, Houghton Regis (Bedford Square opposite Poundstretcher).

I work by providing a safe, confidential space where people can bring their feelings and thoughts and work at their own pace. My aim is to be supportive and compassionate while helping people see aspects of their situation they haven't already considered. I aim to adapt my approach to every unique individual's particular wishes, needs and circumstances. For example, I offer the opportunity to work creatively and/or look at past experiences or how someone thinks and feels in 'the here and now'.
